Image resizer for pixels, cm, percent and KB

Pick your photos, set the size you need, and save them. Pixels, cm, inches, percent or a file size in KB.

Your photos stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Use it now

Set the size your form, shop or social post asks for. The tool works on your phone or computer, so it is quick, it costs nothing, and your photos never leave your device.

How to resize an image

  1. Choose one photo, or up to 50.
  2. Pick how to size it: pixels, print size, percent or file size.
  3. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP.
  4. Press Resize, compare before and after, and save.

Resize to a print size

Enter a size in cm, mm or inches and a DPI. The tool works out the pixels and writes the DPI into the file, so a print shop gets the size you meant.

Resize to a file size

Set a maximum in KB, and a minimum if your form has one. The tool keeps the best quality that fits. If it needs to, it also reduces the pixels, and it tells you when it does. For forms, the photo resizer in KB opens straight on this mode.

Resize many photos at once

Add up to 50 photos and resize them to the same size. Save them one by one, or all together as a zip file.

What it does not do

A form may have other rules, such as background or face size. This tool changes size and format only. For an exact passport size, use the passport size photo maker.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no login and no daily limit.

Which photos can I open?

JPG, PNG, WebP and most photos your phone takes. HEIC photos open too.

Why does a bigger size look soft?

Making a photo larger cannot add real detail. The tool warns you when the new size is bigger than the original. To add real detail, try the AI image upscaler.

Will my photo keep its location and camera details?

No. Saving a new copy removes those details from the file.
