Amazon product image requirements for India start with the main image: a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), the product filling 85% of the image, and the whole product in frame. Images must be 500 to 10,000 pixels on the longest side, and 1,000 pixels or more turns on zoom. JPEG is the recommended file type. The table gives each rule with a link to Amazon's page.

What a good Amazon main image looks like
Ravi sells steel water bottles from Jaipur. His main image shows one bottle, front view only, filling most of the frame, on pure white rather than light grey. The lid is in the picture because it comes with the bottle. The box is not.
Easy to miss: footwear shows a single shoe facing left at a 45 degree angle, and adult clothing is shown on a standing model, never a mannequin.
Why phone photos get flagged
A white wall looks white to the eye but often comes out grey or cream, and Amazon asks for exact white. Images that break the rules may be removed, and a product with no compliant main image may drop out of search until one is added.

In Hindi and Hinglish
