Marketplace product image requirements, checked and dated

Marketplace image requirements are the rules Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho set for product photos: the background, the size in pixels, the file type, how many images you add and what must stay off the main image. The three are close, but not the same. Amazon India publishes the most detail on an open help page: a pure white main image, a minimum and maximum size in pixels, the file types it accepts, and a rule for tagging images that show AI generated people. Flipkart's public seller guide asks for high resolution images on a white background, from multiple angles, and its quality check team reviews images before a listing goes live. Meesho keeps its detailed image guidelines inside the Supplier Panel, visible only after you log in.

One habit works everywhere: one clear product, a plain white background, a sharp photo in good light, and nothing extra on the main image. Then read your marketplace's page before you upload, because rules change and categories such as clothing often have their own.
