Credits
Learn how credits are held and spent, which ones go first, when they expire and how to read your credit history.
Credits are what you spend to make things in Kritiverse. One balance pays for images, video and voice. This page explains how they are held, spent and returned. For a short start, see Credits and plans.
Where to see your credits
- Look at the number at the top of any app page. Press it to open Credits and plan.
- On Credits and plan, the Balance card shows your credits, and about how many images or videos they cover.
- The same figures are in My account, Plan and billing, together with Credits used by tool.
What a job costs
The cost shows on the button before you press it, for example 25 credits for a Standard image, or 110 credits for a Kriti Motion clip of up to 8 seconds. Prices can change. A job that is already running keeps the price it started with. The pricing page lists current plans and top ups.
How credits are held and spent
- You press the button. The credits for that job are held. They leave your balance, and the Balance card shows a line such as how many are held for jobs that are running.
- The job runs. You can keep working.
- When the job ends, the held credits are settled. You are charged for the results that were made, and the rest go back.
If a job fails, times out, returns nothing or is blocked by the content rules, every held credit goes back on its own. You do not need to ask. A batch with some failures charges only the results that worked. If a job is lost and nothing is working on it, its hold is released on its own after about 30 minutes.
A result that was made is final and charged, even if you do not like it. Regenerate is a new job and costs credits again. The charge shows next to the button.
Which credits go first
Credits come in kinds, and each kind can end on a different date. The ones closest to their end date are used first. Credits with no end date go last. The Plan and billing tab lists what you hold of each kind:
| Kind | What it is |
|---|---|
| Free credits | Welcome credits and the monthly refill on Free. |
| Plan credits | The credits your Pro plan gives each month. |
| Rolled over | Plan credits you did not use, carried to the next month. |
| Bonus | Extra credits from an offer. |
| Top ups | Credits you bought once with Add credits. |
| Week Pass | Credits that came with a Week Pass. |
| Added by Kritiverse | Credits added by our team, for example to fix a problem. |
When credits expire
The What rolls over card shows the rules that apply to you, and the date when the next credits end. In short: free credits end after a set time, unused plan credits roll over for one month, and top ups last for months. The Terms give the exact periods. When credits expire, a line named Expired shows in your history.
Add credits
On Credits and plan, the Add credits section lists one time packs. Press a pack to go to checkout. It is one time with no auto debit. A Week Pass box with Get it sits below when it is open for you. You can pay with UPI, card, net banking or wallet. The pack prices are on the page itself, and Payment problems helps if a payment fails.
Read your credit history
Credit history lists your last credit movements, newest first, with When, What and Credits. The What column uses these names: Added by Kritiverse, Bonus, Expired, Top up, Plan credits, Week Pass, Referral, Refunded, Used and Taken back after a money refund. The last one appears if a payment of yours was refunded and the unused credits had to be taken back.
Credits that are only held, and then returned after a failed job, leave no line because your balance ends where it started. Credits used by tool on the Plan and billing tab shows the last 30 days, biggest first, with returns taken off.
Tips
- Check the cost on the button before you press it, especially for video.
- Press Stop on a job that is still waiting in line. The credits come back at once.
- Keep a few credits spare, so a long video is not blocked half way.
Common problems
The screen says how many credits you need. Press Get credits, or open Credits and plan and use Add credits.
My balance dropped while a job was running. Those credits are held for the job. If it fails, they return. The Balance card shows how many are held.
"This goes against our content rules, so it was not made. Credits returned." Nothing was used. Change your words.
"Did not work, credits returned" The held credits are back in your balance. Press Retry to run it again, which holds credits again.
"Some results did not work. You were charged only for the ones that did." The rest were returned.
I paid but my credits did not arrive. See Payment problems. The page "Payment received, adding credits" adds them on its own.
I want to move credits to another account. Credits cannot be moved to another account or exchanged for cash. The Terms explain this.
