Cartoon Studio

Cartoon Maker

Write your story in one line, check the free script, then approve and pay for each step of your cartoon.

This page shows you how to make a cartoon video from one line. You see the free script first and approve every paid step.

What it does

You write one line, in Hindi, Hinglish, English or Urdu. Cartoon Maker writes the story, draws the characters, records the voices, draws the scenes, makes them move, adds music and joins it all into one video.

You decide how much control you want. Go step by step and say yes before each paid step, or let it make everything for you.

When to use it

  • You have an idea for a kids story, a moral story, a rhyme, a funny Short or a festival video.
  • You have never made a cartoon and want a first video today.
  • You already have characters and want a new story with them.

To design a character before you write a story, use Cartoon Character. To keep many cartoons of one cast on a shelf, use Story Library. For a live action film, use Film Maker.

Step by step

  1. Open Cartoon Maker. You see one box: What's your story?
  2. Write one line, or tap a ready idea: Kids story, Moral story, Rhyme, Funny Short or Festival. Tap the same idea again for another one.
  3. Under Pick a look, choose how the cartoon is drawn. One look is already picked. Press Change to choose the language and the length.
  4. Press Start step by step. The story is written for free.
  5. Go through the seven steps in the bar at the top. Each step shows its price before it runs. The next step opens only when you say this one is good.
  6. Story: read and change the script. Press Looks good, next when you are happy.
  7. Characters: press Draw the characters, look at them, then press Keep these, next. This locks them, so every scene follows the same looks.
  8. Voices: press Make the voices and listen to every line.
  9. Scene frames: press Draw the frames and look at every picture. No motion is paid for yet.
  10. Motion: press Make all the clips, or make one clip first to try it. Press Keep pictures, no motion to skip it.
  11. Music and sound: pick a mood, press Make music and effects and listen. Or press No music or effects.
  12. Final join: press Join the cartoon. Everything you approved becomes one video. Then press Download.
  13. The line under the bar shows what you have spent, what is left to pay and the total.

The seven steps

StepWhat you can do
StoryChange any line, who says it, the place, what we see, the shot size, the camera, the type and the seconds. Add a shot or a scene. Press Rewrite with AI and say what should change. The table can also be taken as a file: Download this script, Get template and Upload script. A file can be up to 700 KB. Check the story points to lines that need a second look.
CharactersChange the look (Body and height, Clothes, What they carry, Face and hair), then draw. Draw again redraws one. Each character gets three pictures.
VoicesListen to each line. Change voice for a character, Say it again for one line.
Scene framesTap a frame to change it. You can also fill Words in the picture. Leave it empty for no writing in the picture.
MotionEach shot is Picture, Talking or Moving. Animate makes one clip.
Music and soundMoods: Happy, Adventure, Calm, Funny, Festive. You also hear the sound effects.
Final joinWatch the cartoon. Cut again joins it again if you changed something.

Frames and Motion open the shot board. It has the player, the shots grouped by scene, and a Timeline tab. The panel on the right has This shot and Whole scene. For a shot you can change the type, speaker, line, who is in the shot, size, camera, what we see, what moves, expression, sound, place and seconds. Redraw, Voice, Animate, Earlier, Later, Rewrite with AI and Delete shot are there too. Versions lets you go back to an earlier picture with Use this picture. For a scene you can change the place, press Make this scene or Pictures only, or Delete scene.

Change it after it is finished

You never start again. Your cartoon stays on the page until the new one is ready.

  • Change something: write what you want, like "make the cat funnier", and press Change it. The words change for free. Then you see Update for a number of credits to remake only those scenes.
  • Tap a scene to redo it: press Redo this scene. You can say what should change.
  • Voices: tap a character, listen, and press Use this voice. Only their lines are made again.
  • Music: tap a mood, then press Change music.
  • Make another with these characters: a new story with the same characters costs less, because they are already drawn.
  • Make a new cartoon: back to the first box.
  • Open the full editor: every scene, line, picture and voice by hand.

Cuts on the beat (rolling out): a cartoon with music and no voices cuts every shot on a beat of the music, a new scene on the first beat of a bar, and ends on a strong beat with the music fading over that bar. A cartoon with voices keeps cutting on the words.

Who can use it

What it costs

The story is free. In the step by step way, each step shows its price in the bar, and nothing paid starts until you press its button. Voices and the final join add no new cost. Pictures start from 25 credits each.

Make it all for me shows the most a cartoon can cost, before you press it. You never pay more than that. If fewer scenes are needed, you pay less.

Changing the words is free. Remaking a picture, a voice or the music costs only that part. A step that fails is not charged for what was not made.

Tips

  • Say who, what goes wrong and how it ends. One line is enough.
  • Use your own names, not famous cartoon characters.
  • Check the Story step well. Changing words is free, and changing pictures later is not.
  • Pick Keep these, next only when the characters look right. They are used in every scene.
  • Make one clip in Motion first to see how it moves, then make the rest.
  • Characters you make here are saved, so you can use them in every other tool.

Common problems

"Write one line first, or tap an idea." Write at least a few letters, or tap a ready idea. "The story used a famous character, so we stopped. Please try again." Kritiverse makes original characters only. Change the name and try again. "The story did not pass the kids safety check. Please change your line." Make the idea gentler and try again. "This story is too scary for small kids. Please make it gentler." Change the idea and start again. "This stopped before the end" The page says what happened. Press Try again. What was already made is saved, and you pay only for what is left. "All your scenes are made and saved, but we could not join them into the final video. Try again joins them, and the scenes are not charged again." Press Try again. "Our video engine has run out of balance. This is on our side. Nothing was charged. Please try again a little later." Try again later. "The story writer is busy. Please try again in a minute." Wait a minute and press Try again. "We could not draw the characters this time. Please try again." Press Try again. "The music could not be made, so nothing was charged for it. Please try again." Press Make music and effects again, or skip the music. "We could not add music this time. Tap a mood to add it." Tap a mood on the finished cartoon. "Nothing changed. Try saying it another way." Write the change in other words. "Your cartoon is updating. Try again when it finishes." Wait for the update to end. "That file is too big." The script file is over 700 KB. Make it smaller and upload it again.
