Video
Make short videos from words or a picture. Learn the three video models, Draft, HD, frames, Kriti Talk and every result action.
Video is the video side of Create. You describe the move, add a picture if you have one, pick a model, and the clip lands in the feed above the box and in your Library.
What it does
Create makes short clips from words alone, from a start picture, or from a start and an end picture. It has three video models: Kriti Motion for smooth clips from your image, Kriti Cinema for the same creator and product in every shot, and Kriti Talk for a face that speaks your words.
The panel, the feed, Direction, Styles and the result window work as on Image. This page covers what is different for video.
When to use it
- You want a short clip for a Reel, a Short or an ad, from a line of text or a still picture.
- You want a picture to move, with a start frame and an end frame.
- You want a face to say your script.
For a whole film with scenes, use Film Maker. To cut, add music and captions, open a clip in Kriti Cut.
Step by step
Make a clip
- In the menu, open Core AI, then Video. Check that Video is selected at the top of the panel.
- Optional: press Start frame and pick a picture from Assets. Press End frame too if you want to decide how the clip ends.
- Type what you see and how it moves. Name one simple camera move, such as "slow push in".
- Open Shape and pick where the clip will go.
- Open Seconds and pick a length. The list shows only what the chosen model can make.
- Leave Video model as it is, and Create picks for you, or pick one. Turn on Draft for a cheaper preview, or HD for the best quality.
- Check the number on Generate, then press it. Video takes longer than a picture. You can keep working.
Put your product or model in a video
If you have Product and Person boxes in Video mode, you can start from your own product or model.
- Press Product or Person and pick from Assets, or upload. The same sections show in Direction.
- Type what you see and how it moves.
- Check the number on Generate. It covers both steps, the start picture and the video.
- Press Generate. One tile shows in your feed: Making the start picture, then Checking the start picture, then your video.
The start picture is made in the best quality with your whole product set and your model's pictures, using your words, Direction and Shape. It holds your product's look with Kriti Lock when the product has one. The video then starts from that picture. An End frame stays your end frame.
- If you also add a Start frame, the video starts from it. Product and Person are not used, and the box says so.
- If the start picture does not pass our check, the video does not start and you pay nothing for the video. The start picture is still charged, and it stays in your Library. If you like the picture, press Use anyway on its tile or in the full view. The button shows the video's price, and the video starts from that picture.
- The start picture is charged when it is made and the video when it starts. If your credits run out in between, the video does not start.
- Kriti Motion, Kriti Cinema and Draft can all start from the picture. Kriti Talk has its own Face box, so Product and Person hide there.
Make a speaking video with Kriti Talk
- Open Video model and pick Kriti Talk. The panel changes.
- Press Face and pick a face from My Models or a photo. You can add Audio of your own instead of a voice.
- Pick a Voice and a language: हिंदी, Hinglish or English.
- Type what the person says in the prompt box.
- Optional: under Scene and action, say where they are and what they do.
- Check the cost on Generate. It follows your script length. Press it.
Make the full video from a Draft
- Open your Draft clip from Your creations.
- Press Make the full video. The same prompt and frames load at full quality.
- Check the cost, then press Generate.
Every option explained
Top bar and frames
The top bar is the same as on Image: Image and Video, the Create category button, Styles and Reset. In video mode Styles can also list camera moves, scene styles and shot recipes. Cards tagged Better in Image work best as pictures.
| Slot | What goes in |
|---|---|
| Start frame | The first picture of the clip. The clip grows out of it |
| End frame | Optional. The picture the clip should end on |
Frames take JPG, PNG or WebP. You can also press Make a video on any picture in your feed. It fills Start frame for you.
Auto shape from your frame
When you add a Start frame or an End frame, Shape turns to Auto (match the frame). The clip takes your picture's own shape: the closest one the video model makes. A tall phone photo makes a 9:16 clip, a wide photo a 16:9 clip.
- With both frames of different shapes, Auto follows the Start frame, and a short line says so.
- You can still pick a shape by hand. When it is not your frame's shape, a short line says the frame will be cropped or padded to fit.
- Remove the frames and Shape goes back to a normal shape.
The toolbar
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shape | The shape of the clip. It starts on Square 1:1 when the model makes it, or pick Reels and Shorts 9:16 or YouTube 16:9. With a Start frame or an End frame it starts on Auto (match the frame), shown as Auto with the shape it will use in small text |
| Seconds | The length. Each model makes its own lengths. Change the model and the length moves to the nearest one, with a note such as "Kriti Cinema makes 5 or 10 s" |
| Direction | Camera and motion choices, all on None to start. Video adds a Video section |
| AI Polish | Writes a better prompt from your words and frames. AI Polish words your idea the way a director would brief it: clear and tasteful, with nothing added or taken away. Undo brings your words back |
| Generate | Shows the cost. It follows the model and the seconds |
Video model, Draft and HD sit in the bottom row of the panel. Reset is top right.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Video model | Kriti Motion, Kriti Talk or Kriti Cinema. If you do not pick one, Create picks |
| Draft | Shows with Kriti Motion. A cheaper preview |
| HD | Moves the clip to Kriti Cinema |
The three video models
| Model | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Kriti Motion | Smooth clips from your image |
| Kriti Talk | Your voice, their face, any language |
| Kriti Cinema | The same creator and product in every shot |
Draft and HD cannot both be on. Turning one on turns the other off. A Draft cannot become a final clip, so use Make the full video to get the real one.
Kriti Talk panel
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Face | Required. A face from My Models, or your own photo. No doctors, lawyers or famous people |
| Audio | Optional. Your own audio speaks and the voice is not used |
| Voice | Your voices, the Voice library, or Kritiverse presenters |
| हिंदी, Hinglish, English | The language of the script |
| Prompt box | The words the person speaks |
| Scene and action | What the person does, where, and the camera |
| Shape | Square 1:1 first. Also Reels and Shorts 9:16 or YouTube 16:9 |
| Seconds | Set by your script. It reads Script length until the cost is worked out |
| Moves tag and a first frame tag | Shown when your scene asks for body movement or names a place. Both are already in the price |
If your words read like an action, a hint says so and Move to Scene moves them for you.

Who can use it
Free plan: included. Pro plan: included.
Your plan decides how many jobs run at once. The rest wait in line, and you can stop a waiting job to get its credits back.
What it costs
A clip of up to 8 seconds on Kriti Motion costs 110 credits. A Draft of up to 8 seconds costs 50 credits. HD moves the clip to Kriti Cinema, which costs 350 credits for up to 8 seconds. A longer clip costs one more block for every 8 seconds started.
Kriti Talk is charged by the second, from 27 credits a second, by your script length.
The button always shows the exact number. A finished clip is final and paid. If a job fails, every credit comes back.
Tips
- Describe one thing that moves. "Slow push in on the kulhad, steam rising" works better than five moves.
- Start with Draft to test the idea, then use Make the full video.
- Add an End frame when you need a clean ending or a loop.
- For a talking video, write at least two sentences. Very short scripts feel cut off.
- Use a face you own or have permission to use.
Common problems
"This model cannot take the frame you added. Pick another model." Pick another Video model, or remove the frame.

"Kriti Motion is busy right now. Wait a few minutes and try again. Your credits are back." Try again later, or try another model.
"Kriti Cinema is busy right now. Try Kriti Motion, or wait a few minutes. Your credits are back." Switch off HD or wait.
"Pick a face from My Models or your own photo." Kriti Talk needs a Face.
"This looks like an action. Put it in Scene so the person does it." Press Move to Scene.
"This is taking longer than usual. It keeps going on our side; check back in a few minutes." The clip is still being made. Press Refresh.
The message says how many credits you need. Press Get credits.
