Invoices and GST

Find and open your tax invoices, save one as a PDF and add your GSTIN and business name before you pay.

Every payment you make gets a GST tax invoice. This page shows where to find it, what is on it, and how to put your business details on it.

Find your invoices

  1. Open Credits and plan from the number at the top of the page.
  2. Find the GST invoices card. Under the form, each invoice shows its number, its date and the total.
  3. Press View to open one.

The same list is in My account, Plan and billing, under Invoices. It shows your latest invoices, newest first. If you have none, the page says "No invoices yet."

An invoice is made for each payment that went through: a plan, a renewal, a top up, a Week Pass or a paid course. You only ever see your own invoices.

Save an invoice as a PDF

The invoice opens as a clean page. To keep a copy, print the page from your browser and choose Save as PDF as the printer. You can also press Invoice on the "Payment received" page right after you pay.

What an invoice shows

  • The seller name, address and GSTIN.
  • Invoice number, Date and Place of supply (state code).
  • Billed to, with your business name and your GSTIN if you added them.
  • A table with Item, SAC, Credits and Amount.
  • Taxable value, then the GST, then Total, GST included.

Our prices include 18% GST. If your GSTIN is from the same state as ours, the tax is split into CGST and SGST at 9% each. If your GSTIN is from another state, it shows as IGST at 18%. With no GSTIN, it is split into CGST and SGST.

Invoice numbers run in order with no gaps, one series for each Indian financial year (April to March).

Add your GST details

Do this before you pay. The details are written on an invoice when the invoice is made. They do not change an invoice that already exists.

  1. Open Credits and plan.
  2. In the GST invoices card, type your GSTIN. It has 15 characters, for example 27AAAAA0000A1Z5.
  3. Type the Business name on the invoice.
  4. Type the Email for the invoice.
  5. Press Save. The page shows "Saved".

You can also open Add GSTIN for a tax invoice on the checkout page and fill in GSTIN and Business name on the invoice there. The email on the checkout page is also filled in for the payment form.

Tips

  • Keep your GSTIN saved on Credits and plan, so each new invoice carries it.
  • Add your business name exactly as it appears on your GST registration.
  • A refund of a payment is handled by the team. See the Refund policy, and ask on the contact page with the topic Refund request.

Common problems

"That GSTIN does not look right." Check all 15 characters. The last one is a check character, so a single wrong letter fails.

"That email does not look right." Check the address for a typo.

I added my GSTIN after paying. The old invoice keeps the details it was made with. Add the GSTIN now so that your next invoices carry it. To ask about an old one, open the contact page, choose Billing and GST invoice and send the invoice number.

My invoice is missing. Look at the "Payment received, adding credits" page, which finishes on its own. After a few minutes, check Invoices again. If it is still missing, write to us with the payment ID from the payment page.

"No invoices yet." No payment has gone through for this account. Free credits do not get an invoice.
