Mockup
Put your design on a mug, tee, box or poster and get a product photo with your art exactly in place.
Upload your design, pick the item, and get a product photo with your artwork printed in the right place. Your words and logo are pasted back exactly, never retyped.
What it does
Mockup runs on the Create page. You add your artwork, choose an item such as a tee, mug or box, and Mockup shoots it in a scene with your print on it. It reads your design first and locks its text, colours and size. After the picture is made it checks that the print matches your file.
You can also upload a photo of your own item and mark where the design goes.
When to use it
- You sell print on demand, merch or packaging and need photos before you print a sample.
- You want one design shown on many items for a listing or a social post.
- You have a logo, poster or pack artwork and want a quick look at how it sits on the real thing.
For a photo of a product you already have, use Product Shoot. A shop that wants real pictures for Amazon's main image should shoot a printed sample. Mockup tells you this in its checks.
Step by step
- In the menu, open E-Com Studio, then Mockup. Press Direction, or an empty upload box. Direction slides up with three cards at its top: 1 Design, 2 Item and 3 Look.
- Press 1 Design. Pick your artwork from your files, or upload it. Image 1 is always your main artwork. If the item has several print areas, a box asks Where does this go? Pick a placeholder for each file and press Done.
- Your design is read at once. In the Direction sheet, check the Design lock card: the text found, the colours and the background. Fix anything wrong, then press Confirm the Design lock.
- Press 2 Item. Pick a category, then the item. Each tile shows its print areas.
- Press 3 Look if you want a style. If you skip it, the item keeps its own look.
- In the prompt box you can add where the item is, for example on a cafe table with morning light.
- Pick Shape and How many, check the number on Generate, then press it.
- The first time, a box called Your responsibility asks you to confirm you own the designs you upload or have permission. Tick I confirm the lines above. and press Confirm and generate.
Results appear above the panel. Press a picture to open it.

Who can use it

What it costs
The number on Generate is the price for what you picked, and it changes with Quality and How many. Standard costs 30 credits a picture and Refined costs 50 credits. Check the number before you press.
Every result is final and paid. A print that could not be placed or did not match stays as it is, marked Needs your eye.
Tips
- Use a large, sharp file. A small file warns you about DPI.
- Remove a solid background first, or the art prints as a rectangle.
- Confirm the Design lock before you generate. It is the exact text that goes in.
- Use Magic when unsure, then change one group at a time.
- For a full body model the print can look tiny. Use waist up or a detail shot.
- Amazon and similar marketplaces expect a real photo for the main image. Use a mockup for secondary images and social posts, or shoot a printed sample.
