Your first video
Make a short video on Create from words or from a picture, choose the length and model, then download it.
This page shows you how to make a short video on Create, from words alone or from a picture you already have.
Make the video
Here is a prompt you can try:
Close shot of masala chai pouring into a clay kulhad at a stall in Varanasi, steam rising, slow camera push in, soft morning light
- In the menu, open Core AI, then Video. Check that Video is selected at the top of the panel.
- Add a picture if you have one. Press Start frame and choose an image, or use words alone. End frame is optional and sets how the clip ends.
- Type what you see and how it moves.
- Open Shape and pick where it will go, such as Reels and Shorts 9:16 or YouTube 16:9.
- Open Seconds and pick a length. The list shows what the model can make.
- Leave Video model on its Auto tag for your first try.
- Check the number on Generate, then press it.
A clip of up to 8 seconds on Kriti Motion costs 110 credits. A longer clip costs more. The button always shows the exact number.
Video takes longer than an image, and you can keep working meanwhile. When it is done, it shows under Your creations and in your Library.
Start from a picture you made
Open an image from Your creations and press Make a video. Then describe the movement in the box.
Choose a video model
| Model | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Kriti Motion | Smooth clips from your image |
| Kriti Talk | A speaking video. The panel changes to a Face, a Voice and a script |
| Kriti Cinema | The same creator and product in every shot |
Two switches sit beside the model:
- Draft is a cheaper preview on Kriti Motion. A clip of up to 8 seconds costs 50 credits.
- HD moves the clip to Kriti Cinema. A clip of up to 8 seconds costs 350 credits.
Use your result
Press the clip to open it, then use Download to save it. Edit in Kriti Cut opens it in the video editor. On a Draft, Make the full video brings the same prompt and frames to full quality.
The app shows a Made with AI label next to your results. If you post realistic people or places, turn on the platform's AI label too. Use a real person's photo only with their permission.
Common problems
The seconds changed by themselves. Each model makes its own lengths, so the clip moved to the nearest one. A small note says which.
"This model cannot take the frame you added." Pick another model, or remove the frame.
"This is taking longer than usual." It keeps going on our side. Check back in a few minutes.
A model says it is busy. Your credits are back. Wait a few minutes, or try Kriti Motion.
The clip moves the wrong way. Name one simple move, such as "slow camera push in".
