Folders and files

This page shows how to organise your files in Kriti Cloud: make folders, upload, move, rename, delete and download.

What it does

Folders and files live in My Drive. You can make folders inside folders, upload files and whole folders, move things between folders, and download a folder as one zip. A deleted file goes to Recently deleted, so you can bring it back.

When to use it

• You want one folder for each client, shop or campaign.
• You have a folder on your computer and want the same structure in Kritiverse.
• You want to send a whole folder of results to someone as one zip.

Step by step

Upload files and folders

1. Open Kriti Cloud and go to My Drive. Open the folder you want to fill, or stay at the top.
2. Press New, then Upload files to pick files, or Upload a folder to pick a whole folder.
3. On a computer you can also drop files or a folder anywhere on the page.
4. Watch the Uploads box. Two files go at the same time. A file you do not want can be stopped with the small cross.

Each file shows its percentage, then Done. If a file fails, only that file shows the reason. The others carry on. If your storage fills up, the files that were waiting show Stopped.

Make a folder

1. Press New, then New folder.
2. Type a name. It starts as New folder.
3. Press Create.

If a folder with that name is already there, the new one gets a number after it. When you are inside Made in Kritiverse or Recent, the new folder goes to the top of My Drive.

Move, rename, delete or download

1. Press the small tick on a file or folder to select it. You can select many.
2. Use the bar that appears. It shows how many you selected.
3. For Move, pick the folder in the Move to list. My Drive is the top.
4. For Rename, type the new name and press Rename. This works on one item at a time.
5. For Delete, read the note and press Delete.

Every option explained

Zip downloads

1. Select one folder, or several files, and press Download.
2. The page says it is making your zip. Keep the page open. The download starts when the zip is ready.

Only one zip is made at a time. You can zip one folder at a time. A zip can hold up to 2000 files and up to 4000 MB.

What can be uploaded

Anything else is skipped, and the page says how many files it skipped. A folder upload takes up to 2000 files at a time. Folders can go 20 levels deep.

Size limits for each kind are on Storage limits.

Your uploaded files are private. Pictures (JPG, PNG, WebP) are checked and cleaned like any picture you upload in a tool. The other kinds are kept as they are, and do not show in galleries or tool pickers. Documents always download. They do not open in the browser.

What it costs

Nothing in credits. Uploads, folders, moves, renames and zips are free. Files count towards your storage.

Tips

• Moving a result from Made in Kritiverse into a folder does not copy it. It stays in the Library too.
• Delete a folder to clear it fast. Its files go to Recently deleted. They return to the top of My Drive if you restore them.
• A file that something live still uses stays where it is, at the top of My Drive, and the page tells you how many were kept.
• You can delete up to 200 items in one go.

Common problems

"This file type cannot be uploaded." Check the list above.

"This file is too large." The message shows your limit. Compress the file, or upgrade.

"This picture is too large. The limit is 8000 px a side." Resize the picture and upload it again.

"That name cannot be used." The name is empty, or it is only dots. Type a different name.

"A folder here already has that name." Rename the folder to something else.

"A folder cannot go inside itself." Pick a different folder to move into.

"Folders cannot go any deeper." You have reached 20 levels. Move the folder higher up.

"This is no longer here." The file or folder was moved or deleted. Reload the page.

"Part of the file did not arrive." The connection broke while uploading. Upload the file again.

"Too large for one zip." The message shows the limit. Zip a smaller folder, or download files one by one.

"A zip is already being made. Please wait for it to finish." Wait, then try again.

"The zip could not be made. Please try again." Press Download again.

"Your storage is full." New uploads and saves are paused. Your files are safe.
